We expect ecommerce sales to jump 11.3% this year on the strength of a 14.8% YoY rise in mcommerce. Mcommerce will account for almost 50% of total holiday ecommerce sales this year.

Mobile commerce will gain a larger share of online retail sales. Mcommerce sales in Western Europe rose last year as shoppers made more of their online purchases via smartphones and tablets. This year, the outlook for mcommerce is even stronger as online sales bounce back across most of the region. Mcommerce continues to outpace total ecommerce.
