But regulators in France, Germany, and Spain are still mulling the legality of ChatGPT’s practices in relation to GDPR compliance. Additional AI regulation may be necessary—and it’ll need to come faster than GDPR did. More stringent and specific legislation around generative AI will likely be needed.

The UK will perform relatively well compared with some of its neighbors—the 2.1% growth it will see this year will be bettered by only Spain in Western Europe, for example. But the boom years for social networks are well behind us.

Italy at 48.4, Germany at 46.8, Spain at 46.8 and France at 42.6. It's also older than the US though, which is 38.9. Canada is 42.6. But what's really interesting is that the country, the oldest median age in the world is Monaco, which has an average age of 56.9, and that's nearly four times the average age in Nigeria, which is the world's youngest country with a median age of 15.2 years.
